Re: Display refresh goes a-wonky
This is likely to be a problem with some underlying library, such as GTK+, GDK, or even something of a lower level up to the X libraries, video driver, etc. KildClient doesn't deal with drawing or refreshing directly, instead it uses the widgets provided by GTK+, hoping that they simply work. Unfort...

Re: Kildclient 3.0 - Windows - Bugs!
Unfortunately I couldn't reproduce either of the bugs. It's unlikely that they are KildClient bugs, though. Seems more likely to be a bug in the libraries used by KildClient, the graphics driver, or the interaction between them.
Does this happen every time, or is something random?

Installing spell checking dictionaries
Linux In short: KildClient uses the same dictionaries that other software your distribution uses, so if you can spell check in LibreOffice, Firefox, etc, KildClient should be able to spell check. More specifically, KildClient uses the enchant library for spell checking. enchant allows several dicti...

Re: Automation tab dissapear.
I cannot help you with jmud, but plugins shouldn't be able to affect the program's dialogs. That picture you posted seems to be the "Edit Default World" dialog, accessible from the Preferences menu. There one can set default values for all new worlds, such as fonts and colors. Automation s...

Re: Dependency on CentOS and a question
Hi - After installing KildClient on CentOS 6.5, it took me a while to find the missing dependency to stop the program from crashing on connect. perl-Locale-gettext is a dependency that isn't automatically installed. How did you install it? From a rpm package? Where did you get it from? Also, I'm co...

Re: kildclient uses a lot of memory
OK, I have seen memory increasing when there are triggers. However, at least for me the increase is very slow, I could only notice it when sending huge amounts of data to the mud, that was why I couldn't detect it during normal usage. But if there is a great number of triggers, that might cause bigg...

I did find it strange and unrelated, but since it wasn't advertising anything, I let it pass. But now I've deleted it.jmud wrote:The post above seems to have been generated by a robot; it's an exact copy of this post from 2008:

Re: kildclient uses a lot of memory
Could you show a trigger that causes the problem? Preferably use the "Export" function so that all relevant details are included, try to attach the resulting file, or copy and paste its contents here.
Also, what is the version of libperl that you are using?
